Messy Messy!

Eek! My life is such a mess right now! But only because so many things are going on. Everyday I mark off something on my to-do list, but add 3 more things. By the looks of it, I will never be finished! So I repeat, eek!

Spain was an absolute blast! It was a tour, so we hit up at least 2 cities a day, except for Barcelona, which was probably my favorite. Only because the city was beautiful. Wait, let me rephrase that. It was my favorite BIG city. We saw so many quaint villages and towns that were really beautiful also. I would definitely like to return there. Which I know I will, because my mother already promised we could go wedding dress shopping there :) Now, I only need to find a guy. I'm still holding out for my cowboy in Montana ;p

Mom, Manda, and I in Potes, a small town in the Picos de Europa. Very Medieval.

Mom and Manda goofing off on the steps of the Guggenheim in Bilbao.

At the Guggenheim in Bilbao.

Me and Manda in Zaragoza in the evening. It was so windy, but beautiful!

Manda and I in front of St. James church in Santiago de Compostilla.

Amanda, me, and Mom in Zaragoza.

And finally, one of my favorite pictures, because it looks so cool. Manda and Mom on the Roman bridge in Zaragoza. As I said, very windy and kinda cold, but luckily it was really the only city that was so, and we had a great time taking pictures anyway.

After Spain, we traveled to East Texas for the 4th of July, my favorite holiday! It's my favorite for two reasons: 1) I love the atmosphere, family, and shooting off our own fireworks, and 2) it means my birthday closely follows. yay! For the holiday, we went to my aunt and uncles. They live in Nashville (well, Ozan, really. population 82. seriously), Arkansas and have a beautiful farm out there. They're raising cows, have planted fruit trees, and are starting to make wine. This is only their first year making the wine, but they did give us a taste, and let me tell you, as soon as it matures a little it will be AWESOME!!!! I'm excited at least :)

Me and my cuz's kid Deeanna, such a cutie! And Manda being the photobomb in the back...

Wow... I took this? Even I'm impressed!

This year was one of my best birthdays! Back in Fort Worth, I managed to get my friends Tat, Kim and her husband, and my friend from AC Elise, as well as my sister her friend Amanda, all together! We went downtown to Pete's Piano Bar, and it was so much fun! After losing our voices, Elise stayed the night with me and we ended up spending a lot of the next day together. Way fun!

Okay, let's see: Me, Tat, Manda, Elise, and the other Amanda. We're rockin' out to something! Having so much fun!

I feel so loved!

And now I'm trying to pack up my apartment to move. Ugh. It sucks. I have so much stuff!!!! I feel like I shouldn't have so much, and I know I'm a pack-rat, but still! But my bedroom is packed except for two drawers and some clothes I kept out, and my living room is mostly there. My closet is done, and my bathroom is next, but it won't be too bad. The room I'm dreading is the kitchen. Don't know why, since I don't use it too often (it's really more of a closet, and who wants to cook in one of those?) but I'm procrastinating. At least I have some movers set up, and that was like pulling teeth! I thought I had one all set up, but then found out they don't go to Montana or the Dakotas. WHAT! I know people must move there, so how do they get up there? I finally decided, after much complaining, on another moving company. Why is moving so expensive? But even though I feel like I have too much stuff, I barely made the minimum they take to move. Well, at least having a lot came in handy there.

So now, I need to make sure I'm registered for classes, call the vet to get my cat's records, call my new place to see when I can pick up the key, talk to this apartment complex to settle everything, and make sure my mom can make the two day drive up there with me and London in two (TWO!) weeks. Whew! And I don't even think that's everything! sigh... oh well.

Anyway, that's currently what's up in the (messy) life of amyg! Now, off to find where these fruit flies are coming from. I took out my trash, and the only fruit I have is in the fridge, and surely they're not coming from there. Right? sigh... this is annoying...
